Aug. 11, 2006 - 8:22 p.m. me and katie went to the musee de la vie romantique on wednesday with her friend beth. the grounds were really pretty and pleasant. here i am on the front steps of the house, which used to belong to the painter ari scheffer. after katie and beth looked at george sand's personal possessions and the pencil drawings by pierre loti, we all had tea in the garden. it was really nice under the trees, especially when it started to drizzle. i just sipped my tea and listened to katie and beth talk about jewelry and creativity and the weird politics among people who make jewelry. it was my first time to tea. i think we should go back. katie doesn't feel well now, so she's been sleeping a lot, but we watched tv together today. your pal,
